Google, RSS, Search Engine
The other day I added a couple of RSS photo feeds to see what they were all about. I didn't really plan on keeping them or even putting them on my website. HOWEVER, yesterday I had people looking for Pirates and photos and other stuff who found them selves to the RSS feeds on my website.

The motto: add content - original content is good. TOPICAL content can work also BUT only if you have something worthwhile to add.

RSS, Yahoo
A customer was asking how to add their RSS feed to Yahoo. I've done it once but really didn't remember how to do it. I did a google search for "yahoo rss feed" and I found this site with an article about Yahoo! News Photo RSS feeds. Needless to say this was more interesting to me so off I went to find out how to add yahoo image rss feeds to my site. read about it here

And check out the pages that I added in just a couple of minutes. Click click bang boom and I was done.

Example 2 - Yahoo Image RSS Feeds

Now from a business view this is very very bad. I get someone to my site only to take them away again with RSS feeds. I get how my RSS feeds can help drive traffic to my site. I don't quite have an handle around how a 3rd Party feed can be helpful to from a business point of view. I'll have to puzzle on that for a while.
